London is calling. Dave Matthews Band add yet another festival to the list for 2009.

DMB will be playing Hard Rock Calling as support for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in Hyde Park, London, England UK on Sunday, June 28, 2009.

This performance will be Bruce Springsteen’s first ever-festival appearance outside of the United States, but far from the first for DMB. They already have a date this summer in Lisbon, Portugal for the Optimus Live!09 festival in July.

Dave Matthews Band have visited London a number of times through the years, but this will be the first show ever in historical Hyde Park.

Hyde Park is one of London's biggest and most famous parks. It is also the park where Live 8 took place, while DMB was performing in the same event only many miles away in Philadelphia, PA.

Hard Rock Calling is a 2 day festival which will begin on June 27th. In past years Hard Rock Calling have had big-name artists like Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, The Police, Peter Gabriel. No other artists have been announced for the 09 festival at this time.

The Hard Rock Calling/Live Nation Fan Club presale will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12th at www.livenation.co.uk. Tickets will be available to the public at 9:00 a.m. on Friday February 13th. (Times listed are local London). Standard Day Tickets are £45.00 and Hot Tickets are £99.00.
