UPDATE: 05.13.09 Ticket Requests are NOW available via the warehouse. You can request up to 2 tickets and they are going for $80 each. Seats are very limited. Tickets will not be available to the public for this show. Good Luck!

The concert, presented by Madison Square Garden’s national music network Fuse and MSG Entertainment, will benefit Dave Matthews Band’s Bama Works Fund supporting charitable programs in the Charlottesville, VA area.

This show will be a live broadcast on Fuse TV. In addition Fuse will air the four-part original documentary “Dave Matthews Band: The Road to Big Whiskey”, a 360-degree experience which began on April 14 as the band launched their Spring 2009 tour with a sold-out performance at Madison Square Garden.

The New York Times reported today that Dave Matthews Band will be playing a show at the Beacon Theatre on June 1st. In the same article it was also reported that the show is to be shown in a high-definition broadcast on Fuse TV. Fuse also has plans to broadcast a week of programming centering on Dave Matthews Band, including a documentary.

No official word has been mentioned of this show from DMB's management at this time, nor can you even purchase tickets to this show, (it's not even listed on Beacon theatre's website) but if everything pans out as the New York Times claims it will, more news will follow this article very soon!

It is not too uncommon that DMB would play a small intimate show on the eve of a new album release. They have done shows for other album releases in the past; including their previous album "Stand Up" which had a release show at Roseland Ballroom, also in NYC.

Dave Matthews Band will be in town that week anyway, on June 5th they have a busy day peforming at the Today Show and work their way back Hartford, CT for a show that evening.

"Big Whiskey and The GrooGrux King" is now just 3 weeks away and anticipation continues to grow as we approach this long awaited release! We have already had a taste of a few new songs during the Spring tour.
