On October 9th, at Syracuse University will host “Common Ground for Peace” a landmark two-day forum led by The Dalai Lama, spiritual leader of Tibet. The event will be held on Monday, October 8th and Tuesday and October 9th at Syracuse University.
The event, which is being produced and sponsored by the One World Community Foundation, will bring together international thought leaders, the SU campus and the greater Syracuse community in critical conversations about how to shift global consciousness toward matters of peace.
The "One World Concert" will be on October 9th, and will feature a number of artist including Dave Matthews, Counting Crows, Phillip Phillips, Nas, A.R. Rahman, Andy Grammer, Matisyahu, Natasha Bedingfield, Swizz Beatz, Cyndi Lauper, Bebe Winans, Angélique Kidjo, Voices of Afghanistan, Souad Massi, Engelbert Humperdink, Roberta Flack, David Sanborn, Joanne Shenandoah, David Crosby, Nelly Furtado, Andy Madadian, Liel Kolet and host band Don Was and his All-Star Band.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, September 10th at 10am EST via Ticketmaster.
