Dave Matthews Band announce 2009 Summer Tour Dates
Plenty of excitement today for Dave Matthews Band fans as 2009 Summer tour dates are announced as well as a new release date for the not-yet-title studio album (which Dave Matthews himself mentioned before the offical announcement), now slated for June 2nd, 2009. The orginial release date was planned for April 14th, 2009, the same date as the Spring tour opener at MSG.
DMB will kick off the summer tour in Darien, NY on May 27th and will end the tour on October 2nd in Tulsa, OK. They will make their usual stops along the way along with currently TBA venues in Boston, MA and San Francisco, CA.
With the Spring Tour on it's way and the album coming in June it will be a very exciting Summer tour for DMB. In addition to the US tour dates, plans are currently being finalized for the European tour from late June through early July with more dates to be announced next week.
Warehouse members - Ticketing request period will open at 6:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 19, 2009 and is scheduled to close on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Warehouse ticket limits vary by show and venue between 2 or 4 tickets
