Leave Me Praying (Lyrics)
This song appeared in the Dave and Tim 1997 tour as a slight evolution from the 1996 Dave and Tim song known as "Weight of the World." During 1997, the song became widely known as "Weight of the World / Leave Me Praying". For the purposes of distinction, we designate "Weight of the World" as the original 1996 incantation and "Leave Me Praying" as the incantation from 1997 until its evolution into "Don't Drink the Water" during the Before These Crowded Streets studio sessions.

Little Thing (Lyrics)
During the 4.30.96 performance of this song, Dave refers to the common story spoken over the intro as occurring in January of 1996.

This was released as An' Another Thing on Dave's solo release Some Devil with a string background. Current versions are still labeled as "Little Thing," and this isn't moved to defunct because a.) when played on 1.14.04, the official road page labeled it as Little Thing, b.) there was no structural change with the name change, and c.) a post-Some Devil release, Live Trax volume 4 (4.30.96) still had it labeled as "Little Thing." - dmbalmanac

Minarets (Lyrics)
This song famously features a live "Scat" intro where Dave scats along to his muted guitar strumming before starting the main riff of the song.

On versions from late 1993 to 1995, Carter would also scat along with Dave in the intro.

Below are notes about the "Slow and Low" intro:

During 1994, Carter interpolated lyrics from a Run-DMC song during the scat. The interpolated song is titled "Slow and Low". Here are the lyrics Carter covers:

"I do not sing, but I make a song
You'll live your whole life, and I hope you'll live long
On the Gong Show we won't get gonged
It's Run-DMC, not Cheech and Chong"

He says it very scattishly and sometimes its hard to make out. He also says, "It's DMB", instead of "Run DMC". After this he continues the scat with Dave, often saying something like, "I'm talkin' about Dave...I'm talkin' about Dave", until the main riff hits.

It is known that Carter started doing it sometime in early 94 (verified on 1.3.94) and stopped doing it sometime in late 94 (verified on 11.14.94). - dmbalmanac

One Sweet World (Lyrics)
This is one of Dave's earliest songs and has been played by the full band each and every year since the very beginning.

Originally, the song would traditionally feature an instrumental intro before the main riff that was rarely left out.

Throughout its evolution, Leroi's horn arrangement was modified during the song's recording on "Remember Two Things" and was played as such until the original horn routine was restored when the song was re-worked for the 2004 Summer Tour. This re-working also involved the band dropping the classic "Instrumental intro" to the song. Instead, Dave would lead the song off with the other band members joining in behind him.

A studio recording of Dave playing this song plays during the credits of the 2003 film Go Further. This version was recorded during the Some Devil sessions.

The song also features a live outro dubbed "Swim Naked". During the early years, Dave would scat and elaborate the lyrics, but eventually they settled into the following form:

Don't you love you swim naked
Don't you love you swim naked
Don't you love you swim naked
Cause I do.
