Hey Hey, My My, More Covers for Dave Matthews Band

Neil Young's "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)" was added to the list of cover songs that DMB have played after only 3 shows, in Camden, NJ. Dave Matthews has performed this song solo once before in 2001 for a Neil Young Tribue.This is the first time it has been performed with the band.

Dave used the line "it's better to burn out than to fade away" famously quoted by front man Kurt Cobain of Nirvana.

Three shows into the tour and this marks the 4th new cover song that the band has played together for the first time. There are likely to be more as the tour continues. 

On Wednesday, June 4th, Dave Matthews closed the show with "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)" and "Bitch" a Rolling Stones cover. Yet, one more cover to add to the growing list of songs that DMB has pulled out at the start of the tour. "Bitch" has also never been played by the band before last night. It closed Camden's 2 night stand.
