Rashawn Ross featured on New Ludacris album
Rashawn Ross recently posted a blog on myspace about his involvement on the new Ludacris' album "Theater of the Mind"
Rashawn mentions that his horns are featured on the opening "Intro" track on the album. "Theater of the Mind" will be available in stores on Tuesday, November 25th, 2008. There is no word at this time if Rashawn is featured on any other songs on the album.
In 2006, Rashawn Ross played on Robert Randolph's "Love is the Only Way" which also featured Dave Matthews and LeRoi Moore.
Rashawn has performed with many artists over the years, but has previously toured live with Yerba Buena, Soulive and DJ Quik prior to joining the Dave Matthews Band.
Rashawn has yet to be featured on a Dave Matthews Band studio album, (although he can be found on numerous live releases)., however DMB is currently in the studio now working on a follow up to the 2005 "Stand Up" album. There is no word on an official release date at this time, but is slated for Spring 2009.
