Dave Matthews Band - Tap Tap Revenge iPhone App

Dave Matthews Band now has an iPhone Application called Tap Tap Revenge. The app can be downloaded from itunes for a price of $4.99 and is also compatible with the iPod Touch.

To celebrate the launch, Tapulous is giving away a slew of DMB prizes. You can win a pair of tickets to a Dave Matthews Band concert this summer or one of 30 copies of Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King (some exclusions may apply).

The application is sort of like Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero for the iPhone. The goal of the game is to tap each of the colored balls when they reach a line at the bottom of the screen. If the ball is hit on the beat, the player gains points, but if not, it counts as a miss.

This app has been used by other artists like Coldplay and Nine Inch Nails allowing fans listen to songs will playing the game. Dave Matthews Band tap tap will include 10 songs, including two songs from Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, "Funny The Way It Is" and "Shake Me Like A Monkey".
