Dave & Tim playing Kokua Festival & Seeds of Compassion in April
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will join Jack Johnson at the Fifth Annual Kokua Festival on April 19-20, 2008 at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, Hawaii. All proceeds will benefit the Kokua Hawai'i Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Jack and Kim Johnson to support environmental education programs in the schools and communities of Hawaii.
The Kokua Hawai'i Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports environmental education in the schools and communities of Hawai'i. Our mission is to provide students with exciting and interactive encounters that will enhance their appreciation for and understanding of their environment so that they will be lifelong stewards of the earth
Before Dave & Tim make thier way to Hawaii, they will be playing another concert to benefit Seeds of Compassion.
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will be joined by His Holiness the Dalai Lama for an unprecedented evening of conversation, music and compassion at Key Arena in Seattle, Washington on April 11, 2008.
This benefit concert is in celebration of the five-day Seeds of Compassion event centered on His Holiness the Dalai Lama, April 11-15 in Seattle.
Seeds of Compassion is about providing the fundamental foundations for happiness and success in children, their lives and in the society they live in. Those foundations which are critical for success in school and in life include Early Learning, Cognitive Development and Social-Emotional development.
