A press conference was held yesterday announcing Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the location for the 25th anniversary of Farm Aid. The benefit for farmers will take place on October 2, 2010 at Miller Park.
Farm Aid memebers can take advantage of a ticketing pre-sale on August 6th. Ticketing will be available for warehouse members as well. More info to come later this week for the request period. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on August 14th and will range anywhere from $39.50 to $97.50.
Last night, "Hope for Haiti Now" took over many television networks for 2 hours and was loaded with celebrities and performances by Stevie Wonder, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna to name a few.
The "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon was broadcasted in efforts to raise money for Haiti's earthquake relief fund.
Dave Matthews was the second to last performer and to our surprise he shared the stage with Neil Young. The duo performed a cover of "Alone and Forsaken", a song by Hank Williams.
