Crash Into Me was written during the Crash recording sessions in 95. It briefly peeped its head out during a Dave and Tim live soundcheck during a break from the studio. Along with Too Much, this song was played live before the album release date in April of 96. After the album release the song became immensely popular with fans and has enjoyed frequent playing since. Starting on the 2001 Summer Tour the song surprisingly became a rarity, but it has since returned to regular rotation. The "Dixie Chicken" interpolation is also very popular with fans, and is included in the song 90% of the time. - dmbalmanac
