Live Trax 18 announced as 06.04.96 in Virginia Beach

June 4th, 1996 has been announced as Live Trax: Volume 18. The show from Virginia Beach is the 5th official released from this year and features a very rare full-band performance of "Deed is Done".

This show was thier first back in the United States after a leg of shows in Europe in support of "Crash".

Tables Turned Again
As I prepare for my first night out without my 3 month old daughter, I'm contemplating the enormous emotional strength required in the task of letting go. Just the thought of a few hours away from her raises all sorts of unsettling emotions even though I know how important a break can be for my sanity. It's interesting that this is my current mind-set in the wake of the Dave Matthews Band's announcement to take the year off from touring in 2011, but by now I've come to expect these synchronistic occurrences. And I know that I'm not the only one struggling to process the group's latest news.

DMB 2010 Europe run with a dash of whiskey

The Cologne CathedralAs the month long European run comes to a close one thing is very clear, Dave Matthews Band are having a lot of fun playing these European cities and are heavily promoting their latest studio album, "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King".

Stefan Lessard among many fans have been our personal tour guide sharing twitter updates and some stunning pictures of Europe.

The setlists can easily be compared to that of the 2009 tour, but DMB are still promoting their new album and Europe is finally getting more DMB love. You can hear for yourself with a few of the tapes that have surfaced from the tour that the "Big Whiskey" songs are already evolving and becoming more polished since last years tour. One of many highlights is Tim Reynold's longer solo on "Seven".

Music for Action offers Free Bonnaroo Comp featuring DMB

musicforaction.org has teamed up with HeadCount and the NRDC Action Fund and are offering a FREE "Best of Bonnaroo" download compilation featuring Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Pearl Jam and Jack Johnson among others.

The 06.10.05 performance of "Rapunzel" was chosen for the compilation. To download this free comp, music for action is asking everyone to submit an original or pre-written email to your local senator.

In June, the House of Representatives passed legislation to cut global warming pollution, build a clean energy economy and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Now it is up to the Senate to pass a similar bill and more than a dozen Senators have yet to say how they will vote.

Dave Matthews Band 2010 Summer Tour Dates Announced

Dave Matthews Band kicks off their European tour on February 16th, and while European fans are getting their DMB fix, the 2010 Summer Tour dates for the U.S. have been announced and planning can begin!

DMB will be hitting many of their regular stops, with the addition of a few ball parks like Citi Field, Nationals Park and PNC Park!

In addtion, DMB will be performing for FREE in West Valley City, Utah on August 17, 2010. Warehouse members will be charged a $5.00 convenience fee plus an applicable shipping fee only. When confirming Warehouse members for tickets to the show, priority will be given to members who initially were confirmed for Warehouse tickets to the 2009 USANA DMB show (which was cancelled last year due to Dave's voice).
