Dave Matthews has been using American Express since 1994 and now he is going to be featured in thier newest television campaign "Are you a Cardmember?®"
Dave Matthews is one of four well-known card members that will be featured in the advertisement along with actress Gwyneth Paltrow, film and television producer Brian Grazer and entertainer Tina Turner.
None of them actually appear in person or act in the advertisement, but clips are shown of each person as they share personal stories about transitional moments in their lives and how their relationship with American Express played a meaningful role during those times.
American Express asked each of the Card members to describe their feelings when they first received the American Express Card; Dave's responses is as follows:
First word of the movie "Lake City" came nearly two years ago. Dave Matthews signed on to play the villain in the movie.
Lake City is making its official big screen debut at Quad Cinema in New York, NY on Friday, November 21st and will also be featured in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin and Seattle at a later date. It was recently screened in Irvine, California and has been featured in a number of film festivals including Tribecca.
Dave Matthews has a supporting role in the movie along with Oscar award winner Sissy Spacek, Troy Garity and Rebecca Romijn.
